Year 8 Japanese dinner and Karaoke Night

Year 8 students studying Japanese have been learning about healthy food and lifestyles. As part of their studies, a Japanese dinner and karaoke night was organised to give students the opportunity to taste authentic Japanese food and experience karaoke, a popular Japanese leisure activity. Students were able to taste Japanese Chicken Katsu Curry, chicken teriyaki, sushi and ebi furai to mention a few. The food was fantastic, and the karaoke was even better.

Australia Zoo Trip

In Year 9, students in Term 1 completed a unit of work on Zany Zoo. In the unit, students learnt how to say animals in Japanese as well as describe their physical appearance, habitat, diet and country of origin. To enhance student learning, an excursion was planned to Australia Zoo. Students had a fantastic day and completed Japanese related activities at the Zoo.
